Tempo Gelato

Hello Food Hunters!!! Today I wanna give you a short summary about what I just ate in Jogja or at Tempo Gelato to be exact. Well, I think a lot of people already know about this Gelato Place. Yup, located on Prawirotaman number 43, Yogyakarta. This place is well known as one of the best places that has the nicest Gelato in town. But we can resist that Tempo Gelato becomes so famous because the power of social media such as Instagram and Snapchat. A lot of people has posted Tempo Gelato’s mouth-watering gelato on their social medias including Keenan Pearce who has posted about this place on Snapchat. But all my curiosity had finally been answered when I visited this place a few weeks ago. When I arrived at that place, firstly I ordered the iconic gelato in the cone. I ordered nutella and matcha gelato at that time and I wasn’t disappointed at all. The taste of nutella or matcha gelato that I ordered was completely satisfying and a little bit milky. When I licked the gelato slowly it gave me such a plesant licking experience, because I could really taste the texture of nutella and matcha very well. And then the texture of the cone itself was very good as well. I bit the golden brown cone slowly because I wanted to taste how crunchy it was. And yes, the cone made everything that I ordered tasted extraordinary because it completed the taste of nutella and matcha on it perfectly. So, it is obvious that the gelato I ordered wouldn’t be so tasty without any crunchy cones which made everything tasted so good.

The picture that contains red and white gelato was the second gelato I ordered a few weeks later. At that moment the gelato in the cone was sold out, so I decided to order the gelato that was placed in the cup. I ordered raspberry and white chocolate gelato in a small cup. I still could taste the raspberry and white chocolate very well in my mouth. The combination of raspberry and white chocolate that I tasted at that time tasted so refreshing and it made me satisfied in the good way because I could taste the freshness of raspberry and the sweetness of white chocolate in my mouth.  Well somehow, I gotta be honest that there’ll be different sensation when you enjoy the gelato in a cone and in a cup. Because I think enjoying gelato in a cone will be the best choice for us to taste the combination of crunchy golden brown cone and gelato itself. But it’s clear that everything which Tempo Gelato offers to its customers will make their tummies happy eventually. Because we don’t need to spend a lot of money to get the pleasure of all gelatos that Tempo Gelato has. So, there’s no reason to skip this place (Tempo Gelato) from your list while visiting Yogyakarta.
